House rules of the hotel
1-Customer presentation :
The hotelier has the freedom not to receive customers whose dress is indecent and neglected, customers whose behavior is noisy, incorrect, alcoholic, contrary to morality and public order.
Anyone wishing to stay at the hotel is required to make known their identity and that of the people accompanying them.
2- Reception hours:
The reception is open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. from Tuesday to Sunday morning.
No reservations for the same evening will be accepted after 22:00.
Arrivals must imperatively take place from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
In case of arrival after 22:00 exceptionally, the customer must notify and call the reception.
3- Check-in/Check-out:
Rooms are available from 4 p.m. Monday to Sunday inclusive.
An identity card and a bank imprint will be requested from all occupants of the rooms.
They must be vacated before 11:00 a.m. on the day of your departure.
Attention, in case of departure beyond, an additional night will be invoiced to the customer.
If the client wishes to keep his room for an additional night, payment for the room must be made before 11:00 a.m., subject to availability.
Once you have checked out and returned the key, it will no longer be possible for the customer to have access to the room he occupied the day before.
In addition, the room is intended for a specific number of people: to ensure the safety rules of the hotel, the customer must under no circumstances accommodate additional people.
The client must ensure that the door to his room is closed before leaving or going to bed, as well as the entrance doors when he enters them.
In case of departure very early in the morning, the client will leave his key in his room and make sure to close the door behind him.
4- Key management:
The room key is a key that the customer keeps with him for the duration of his stay, allowing free access to his room.
However, he must not entrust it to a third party.
It is mandatory to return it on the day of departure before 11 a.m.
In the event of non-return, the hotel will charge €50 and debit the amount from the credit card provided when booking.
In case of loss, the repair will be invoiced to you at the current rate.
5- Cleaning
The hotel rooms are cleaned daily between 7:45 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., please use the sign to put on the door of your room to notify the staff
that it is not possible to do this.
If the customer wishes to have his room cleaned when he stays for several days, it must be vacated before 12:00 p.m.
6- Prohibitions:
For security reasons and out of respect for everyone, it is strictly forbidden to smoke throughout the hotel. In accordance with decree no. 2006-1386 of November 15, 2006 setting the conditions of application of the ban on smoking in places assigned for collective use, smoking in the hotel exposes you to an additional billing of €50 per day or/and to legal proceedings.
Any untimely triggering of the fire alarm for non-compliance with this provision will be charged €150 for the cost of restoring the fire safety system to service.
Similarly, it is forbidden to cook in the rooms, as well as to do your laundry there.
It is also forbidden to store food in the room.
It is forbidden to use gas appliances, stoves, etc. in the rooms
It is forbidden to ride bicycles or other means of transport in the rooms, the hotel provides a room for this.
Your visitors are not allowed to enter the premises of the establishment.
7- Damage and nuisance:
We ask customers to respect the premises and the decoration of their rooms. In the event of a problem, the customer will have to engage his civil liability.
The same goes for the disappearance of towels, carpets, pillows, duvets, soaps, ...
Out of respect for other customers, please do not slam the doors or make too much noise, especially between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
Any neighborhood noise linked to the behavior of a person may lead the hotelier to invite the latter to leave the establishment without it being necessary to carry out acoustic measurements, since the noise generated is likely to affect the tranquility of customers (art. R.1334-30 and R; 1334-31 of the Public Health Code).
A hotel room is a place of rest. All trade is strictly prohibited.
Smoking in the room entails a supplement of 50€ per day to be paid by the customer.
If the room is left dirty, a supplement of 50€ will be charged to the customer.
Any other damage in the room or in the common areas may be charged to the customer.
8- Responsibilities:
Children are the full responsibility of their parents. It is forbidden to leave them unattended in the room. Any minor must be accompanied in the room by a responsible adult.
Any damage or nuisance caused voluntarily or involuntarily must be paid for by the person who booked the room.
It is forbidden to run, ride (skates, scooter, bike, etc.) or shout in the establishment, day or night.
Non-compliance with the regulations, safety and hygiene rules, and damage or negligence which could lead to direct or indirect damage to the equipment, the
people or future services, engage your responsibility and will be invoiced.
You are responsible for your physical conditions of access and we decline all responsibility in the event of effects resulting from the services. If you suffer from health problems (circulatory, cardiac, respiratory, allergies, asthma, etc.) or if you are pregnant, please let us know. We all decline responsibilities in the event of physical damage (falls - burns linked in particular to the wearing of jewellery) or material damage, loss or alteration of jewellery, appliances photographs, telephone…
9- Respect for the premises: health and safety rules Prohibitions
A decent attitude, imprint of restraint and discretion is required in order to respect the serenity of the place. It is forbidden to introduce glass objects, to consume alcoholic beverages, illicit substances, and to smoke. It is forbidden to store food in the rooms. You can ask Reception to put your food in the fridge. Any breach of the health and safety instructions will result in the eviction without notice of any person whose behavior goes against these rules.
10- Pets
Animals are accepted in the hotel. (surcharge may apply)
11- Computing and freedom
In application of the law 78-17, known as data processing and freedoms, the customers are informed that their reservation is the subject of a computerized nominative processing. Users have a right to access and rectify the data entered, which can be exercised at the head office: Hôtel Le Cheval Blanc in Giffaumont-Champaubert.
It is specified that this information is not communicated to third parties.The Hotel Le Cheval Blanc offers wifi internet access. The user client undertakes that the computer resources made available to him will not be used in any way for the purposes of reproduction, representation, making available or communication to the public of works or objects protected by a copyright, by a related right such as texts, photographic images, audiovisual musical works, software and video games, without the authorization of the holders of the rights provided for in Books I and II of the Intellectual Property Code when this authorization is required.
The customer must provide the following information: last name, first name, room number, telephone number, email address and length of stay of the user of the wifi network. In the event of non-compliance, the contact details of users may be transmitted to the authorities.
For the safety of property and people, the establishment is placed under video recording surveillance.
Only the cases provided for by law authorize the provision of images.
12- Reception:
The reception declines all responsibility for your luggage or objects left in public places.
Hotel rules apply to all guests and reservations.
Any stay entails the client's acceptance of the hotel's internal regulations. In the event of non-compliance by the customer with one of these provisions, the hotelier will be obliged to invite the customer to leave the establishment without any compensation.
